Bugatti Tourbillon

€3.8 million before tax, 250 examples, a naturally aspirated V16 hybrid powertrain and a Swiss-watch-inspired instrument cluster. Subtlety has left the building.

Bugatti Tourbillon hypercar

The Tourbillon is Bugatti's attempt to make a modern hypercar feel less digital, not more. The center display retreats, the instrument cluster is mechanical, the center console uses crystal glass and the new V16 exists partly because rational engineering alone was never the brief.

There is no value argument here

The premium is not about transportation, lap-time efficiency or even scarcity alone. It buys a level of mechanical theater and material execution that exists precisely because normal economic logic has been suspended.

The Row

Admire

A completely unreasonable object executed with enough conviction to become interesting again. The instrument cluster alone is a better luxury argument than another wall of screens.

The catch

Even before personalization and tax, the starting price is several million euros. This is industrial art with license plates, not a recommendation grounded in utility.
