Fairphone Gen 6+
A modern Android phone whose most unusual feature is permission to keep it: twelve user-replaceable parts, a removable battery and support promised through 2033.

The evidence sheet
The premium is ownership
Most phones turn normal wear into a replacement cycle. Fairphone makes the battery, display, cameras, USB port and other modules accessible with ordinary tools. The value proposition is not benchmark supremacy; it is extending useful life while keeping performance credible.
Repairability as the point
This is one of the few phones where the industrial design, warranty and parts strategy all point toward the same outcome: keeping the device longer.
The catch
You give up wireless charging and some flagship-level silicon and camera advantages. Repairability only pays if you actually keep the phone long enough to use it.
