Ooni Volt 2
An indoor electric pizza oven that makes the premium case with temperature rather than theater: up to 850°F on a normal kitchen circuit.

Volt 2 is Ooni's second-generation indoor oven, built around a 13-inch-class cordierite stone, 1600-watt electric heating and adaptive temperature control. Ooni says it reaches 850°F and can cook a Neapolitan-style pizza in as little as 90 seconds once fully heated.
The broader idea is more interesting than speed alone. The oven can also hold temperatures down to 70°F for dough proofing, adds presets and custom modes, and uses a removable smoke-and-steam filter to make dedicated high-heat pizza more plausible indoors.
What is actually here
What does the premium buy?
A home oven plus steel or stone is the rational baseline. The $699 buys a much hotter dedicated chamber, faster thermal recovery, pizza-specific control and the convenience of getting that capability without propane or an outdoor setup.
Best for serious indoor pizza
If pizza is a weekly ritual and outdoor cooking is impractical, the capability is real enough to justify the appliance. Occasional pizza makers should keep the counter space and use the oven they already own.
The Catch
It is a 38.8-pound single-purpose appliance occupying meaningful counter space, and Ooni's fastest cook-time claims depend on dough style, heat saturation and technique. The product only earns itself through frequency.

Price, temperature range, dimensions, power and performance claims are manufacturer-stated and may change. Ooni listed the product as sold out when researched. Row & Ledger has not physically cooked with this oven.
