PARKIT Eclipse
A portable chair that behaves more like a compact piece of outdoor furniture: three recline positions, a cooler under the seat and a backpack carry system.

Why it matters
The integrated cooler is both the cleverest feature and the test of the whole concept. It consolidates two awkward outdoor objects, but it also commits the chair to more bulk on every trip—even when cold storage is unnecessary. Eclipse earns its place for car-based gatherings where setup friction matters; it is a poor answer when the chair must be carried far.
The evidence sheet
Utility earns the bulk
The aerospace-grade aluminum frame, stainless hardware, integrated cooler, backpack straps and push-button recline make the added mass intelligible rather than ornamental.
The camp chair as furniture
It is interesting because it upgrades an overlooked object without losing the reason that object exists.
The catch
Twelve pounds is substantial for a chair you carry. The proposition works best from car to beach, tailgate or campsite—not deep into the backcountry.
