Riva Aquariva Special
A 33-foot speedboat that makes transportation almost incidental. The new Aquariva Special preserves the long, low Riva silhouette and mahogany theatre while quietly updating the machinery underneath.

Riva calls this the first “Special” since the Aquarama. At 10.07 meters long and just 2.8 meters wide, the proportions remain dramatically horizontal. The 2025 redesign by Officina Italiana Design reshaped the windscreen, stern platform and deck without turning the boat into a floating apartment.
The evidence sheet
The point is the arrival
There are faster, roomier and more rational 33-foot boats. Aquariva's premium is aesthetic continuity: polished mahogany, a low wraparound windscreen, restrained hardware and a shape recognizable before the badge comes into focus. It buys the feeling that the boat was drawn first and packaged second.
Admire
As an object, it is extraordinary. As transportation, the economics are indefensible unless boating is already part of the life. That distinction is exactly why it belongs here.
The catch
It is still a boat: storage, maintenance, mooring, fuel and depreciation make the purchase price only the beginning. The rational alternative is not a cheaper Riva. It is deciding you do not need a boat.
