Theragun PRO Plus

A massage gun that has evolved into a multi-therapy recovery platform—and priced itself accordingly.

Theragun PRO Plus massage device

Therabody combines percussive therapy with a heated attachment, near-infrared LED light, vibration and compatibility with a sold-separately cold attachment. It also includes guided routines on-device and app connectivity.

The appeal is integration: one device replacing several recovery tools. The skepticism belongs in the same sentence. More modalities do not automatically make every session better, and the $650 price is substantial if percussion is the only feature you routinely use.

What does the premium buy?

The rational baseline is a strong percussion-only device at roughly half the price. PRO Plus's premium buys integrated heat, infrared LED, vibration, guided routines and optional cold compatibility. The value depends almost entirely on whether those added modalities replace separate tools you would otherwise use.

Skip for most · Buy only if you use the full platform

As a massage gun, the economics are difficult. As a consolidated multi-therapy recovery device for someone who will use several modalities frequently, the premium becomes more defensible.

The catch

The rational case depends on using multiple therapies. Buyers who only need straightforward percussion can spend much less.
