Pagani Huayra R Simulator
A carbon-fibre cockpit wrapped in the curves of a hypercar. Pagani gives virtual racing an object substantial enough to organise a room around.

Most racing simulators reveal the frame first: rails, brackets, a seat and a steering wheel. Pagani starts with a shape.
A green carbon-fibre loop sweeps around the driver, edged in red and held above a sculpted base. The monitor has its own elaborate support, and even the pieces behind it seem designed to be seen. It is a cockpit with the visual confidence of a car whose bodywork has been reduced to a few decisive curves.
That matters in a room. A conventional rig asks you to accept the appearance of training equipment. This one offers the possibility of treating the equipment itself as the main object on display.
A cockpit at room scale
Specifications from Pagani’s March 26, 2024 announcement, reviewed September 10, 2026. Confirm current availability, configuration and quotation through the dealer network; the announcement is not evidence of available inventory today.
More than a steering wheel
Pagani says the wheel, pedals, seat and belts come from the Huayra R, with the carbon chassis produced using its car-making autoclaves. The announced system includes a computer, curved display and Assetto Corsa Pro software. Those connections make the cockpit more interesting than a gaming frame decorated with a badge.
The baseline is a modular simulator built around a strong wheelbase, suitable pedals and a rigid seat mount. That route gives an enthusiast more freedom to select and replace individual parts. The Pagani premium centres on the integrated form, the relationship to the car and the particular controls you inhabit.
Whether its motion cues improve your driving is a separate question. Manufacturer validation claims do not establish how it will help an individual owner, and we have not driven this simulator. A demonstration should cover setup, adjustment, software access and the experience of a full session, not just one dramatic lap.
The Catch
The quoted footprint is already larger than many desks, before allowing space to enter, exit and move safely around the platform. Have the installer establish operating clearances and floor requirements for the intended location. Delivery access should be agreed before the system travels.
Ask who maintains the computer, motion hardware and software, and what happens when one component needs replacement. An integrated object can make the room more beautiful while making upgrades less straightforward. Sound and vibration also deserve a demonstration in the context of neighbouring rooms.
For someone who wants the cockpit
We admire the simulator for carrying Pagani’s visual language into a different activity with unusual conviction. Consider it if that specific cockpit is the object of your desire and the support package is clear. Choose a modular rig if value, experimentation or frequent hardware changes matters more. The strongest reason to want this is the place it gives you to sit, before the virtual engine starts.
